Meet Our Teamour History
Coyle Hardware was established in 1945 by Edward & Irene Coyle and specialized in hardware, cabinets, carpeting supplies, and appliances.
As its focus shifted over time, the company’s name was changed to Coyle Building and Supplies. The company relocated in 1963 to its current home on the West Beltline Highway. By then, its name had changed to Coyle Carpet.
The building has undergone many renovations since then. Renovations include the addition of a second floor. There was also an expansion of the showroom. The company joined what is now known as Carpet One Floor & Home in 1987. It became a part of a massive cooperative with huge purchasing power. This membership gave Coyle its current name and enabled it to prosper in the modern era.
The Coyle brand now extends far beyond carpet to encompass countertops, cabinetry, hardwood, laminate, and tile surfaces. Coyle Carpet One Floor & Home has always been a family-owned business. It now features a 12,000-square-foot showroom and has more than 60 team members.
